Nikwax products are EASY to use. The waterproofing goes exactly where it's needed, reducing waste and saving money. With Nikwax, you can waterproof your clothing in the washing machine, by hand, or with one of our pump sprays.

It's quick and easy to use in the washing machine, and its excellent permanent water-resistance treatment is created during air drying. Thanks to washing machine use, the entire garment is treated, including seams, ribbons, and cords, and of course, the fabric itself. Since it eliminates the need to dry clothes, this saves energy and protects more delicate older clothing from heat exposure. The product has been specifically developed and optimized for breathable waterproof clothing. It leaves a flexible waterproof finish on the individual fibers, allowing moisture to evaporate while maintaining breathability.
Instructions for use
For best results, remove all non-washable items and wash them in a separate wash cycle with Nikwax® TechWash® before waterproofing. Drying is not necessary. Shake well before use. Refer to the symbols on the product.
Use in the washing machine:
1. Remove all detergent residue from the detergent dispenser.
2. Place a maximum of 2 clean items of clothing in the washing machine.
3. Apply 2 full caps (100 ml) of the product to each garment.
4. Set the synthetic low temperature program with slow rotation.
Do not wash clothes with loose glued seams in the washing machine. Glued seams sometimes come apart on older or long-lasting garments. After waterproofing and drying, they can be resealed with a special clear adhesive.
Manual application (use gloves):
1. Immerse the garment in a container or sink of warm water to keep your hands in.
2. Apply 2 full caps (100 ml) of the product to each garment.
3. Rinse, soak for 5-10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly again.
4. Rinse in cold water until completely clean.
Dry:
Allow to dry naturally, check for excess waterproofing after a few minutes, and remove with a damp cloth. If the symbols on the product allow it, you can also tumble dry at low temperatures.
Do not use cleaning agents.

Use undiluted Tech Wash and a sponge or soft nylon brush to remove stubborn stains. Remove all items not suitable for washing before washing. Shake well before use. Observe the symbols on the product.
Machine wash:
1. Remove all detergent deposits from the detergent dispenser.
2. Wash a maximum of two items of clothing at a time.
3. Use two full caps (100 ml) for two garments. In hard water areas, use three full caps (150 ml).
4. Wash according to the instructions on the garment label.
Hand wash (use gloves):
1. Immerse the garment in a container or sink of lukewarm water.
2. Use two full caps (100 ml) for two garments. Use three full caps (150 ml) in hard water areas.
3. Rinse three times in clean water.
Dry:
Air dry at low temperature or tumble dry if the garment label instructions allow.
