Nikwax products are EASY to use. The impregnation goes exactly where it is needed. This means less product is wasted and money is saved. With Nikwax you can waterproof your clothing in the washing machine, hand wash or use one of our pump sprays.

It is easy and quick to use in the washing machine and its excellent treatment with permanent water resistance is produced during air drying. Thanks to the use in the washing machine, the entire garment is treated, including seams, ties and cords and of course the fabric itself. Since there is no need to dry clothes, this saves energy and protects more delicate older clothes from heat exposure. The product has been specifically developed and optimized for breathable waterproof clothing. It leaves a flexible waterproof finish on the individual fibers, allowing moisture to evaporate and maintaining breathability.
Application instructions
For best results, remove all non-washable items and wash in Nikwax® TechWash® on a separate wash cycle prior to waterproofing. It is not necessary to dry the clothes beforehand. Shake well before use. Pay attention to the symbols on the product.
Application in the washing machine:
1. Remove any detergent residue from the detergent dispenser.
2. Place a maximum of 2 clean items of clothing in the washing machine.
3. Apply 2 full capfuls (100ml) of product to each individual item of clothing.
4. Set the synthetic low temperature program with slow rotation.
Do not wash clothes with loose taped seams in the washing machine. Glued seams sometimes come loose on older or long-lasting garments. After impregnation and drying, they can be glued again with a special clear adhesive.
Manual application (use gloves):
1. Submerge the garment in a container or sink of warm water to keep your hands in it.
2. Apply 2 full capfuls (100ml) of product to each individual item of clothing.
3. Rinse, soak for 5-10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly again.
4. Rinse in cold water until completely clean.
Dry:
Allow to dry freely, check for excessive impregnation after a few minutes and remove with a damp cloth. If the symbols on the product allow, you can also tumble dry at low temperature.
Do not use cleaning products.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use internally. Protect your eyes.

Nikwax TX.Direct Spray-On has been specifically developed and optimized for breathable waterproof clothing. It leaves a flexible waterproof treatment on the individual fibers, allowing evaporating moisture to escape and maintaining breathability.
Spray application allows direct treatment of areas that require it most (e.g. seams on jackets) and does not compromise the properties of the internal absorbent liners.
Application instructions

1. Distribute clean, wet clothing evenly over the covered surface.
2. When applying, keep the bottle approximately 15 cm away from the garment to be treated.
3. Apply evenly to the outside of the garment.
4. Allow to coat and after two minutes remove excess material with a damp cloth.
5. Carefully ensure that there is no space left on the garment to be treated.
Dry:
Let it hang freely (check and remove excess material after a few minutes with a damp cloth) or tumble dry on low temperature if the symbols on the clothing allow it.
Required quantity:
With this package you can waterproof one or two items of clothing. This depends on the condition of the clothing being treated.
